The River – On a cold Saturday evening, my husband and I took the canoe out on the Delaware River. He secured the boat by making pontoons from plastic buckets so we wouldn’t tip over. The wind was strong as we maneuvered the boat through the choppy water. The sky was cloudy as the sun was setting and the mood was very surreal. The resulting photograph has a painterly quality with drama and movement.
