Lost Pier

Lost pier landscape photograph taken at sunset in Sandy Hook NJ. Shows a pier that was destroyed during Hurricane Sandy.

Lost Pier Landscape Photo I shot this image at sunset in late March in Sandy Hook, NJ. Hurricane Sandy hit this area hard and the remnants of that storm are still visible. This is a view of what once was a pier and is now a string of posts leading out into the ocean. The colors were brilliant that evening and the air was very cold. The waves moved over the rocks and posts in a soft blur.
